Version 1.137.131
Release Notes December 11, 2023
Enhancements
New Liability Adjustment Functionality: Added a new screen titled "Outstanding Liabilities" accessible under Bank Rec Tasks. There are times when it may be necessary to adjust the outstanding liability amount imported from your payroll or tax processing application. When you enter a Liability Adjustment, it will be included in the calculation of outstanding liabilities, which is used to identify Liability Variance subledger reconciliation items.
The Outstanding Liabilities page (found under Bank Rec Tasks) lists all liability adjustments that have been manually entered as well as the most recent liability amount imported from your payroll/tax application. If the liability amount was imported, the Details field contains "Imported Liability"
From the Outstanding Liabilities page, you can: * Add a Liability Adjustment * Download Outstanding Liabilities * See a Total of the Filtered Transactions * Filter by any combination of Transaction Date, Customer, Details, Tax Code, and Amount. * Click into a transaction to see more details or delete the transaction.
Calculation Updates
- When calculating Liability Variance subledger rec items, the total liability amount is determined by adding imported liability amounts for each co/tax code to the sum of the manually added liability adjustments for that co/tax code.
Reports
- Liability Variance Report:
- Added a column for Liability Adjustments after Liabilities.
- Included a column for total Liabilities after Liability Adjustments (calculated field of Liabilities plus liability adjustments).
- Variance calculation: Ledger Balance minus total Liabilities.
